Conquering Empress

Roamed this land with a chip on my shoulder
Mind to conquer, heart filled with anger
Serenity was being complacent for me
Yet I had to keep moving to display I was free
Entered countless prides with no intentions to reside
I am King, to no one I abide
Wild heart & fearless spirit
Roaring when I see fit
Silenced my ego as I noticed something in the tall grass
Approached quietly for today maybe its last
Slowly but surely I am in range
As I commence to pounce we locked eyes
And my decision has changed
Eye to eye with no words traded
Wasn’t hit with a tranquilizer
But I am sedated

I would like for my unique style of literary art to be featured on all available promotional platforms, such as bookstores, libraries, broadcasting stations, and all social media outlets. Without a shadow of a doubt, I believe my material is original and captivating as well as uplifting and empowering. The poetic scriptures display bravery and exhibit security in a state of artistic vulnerability; which is my key to achieving success. My ultimate goal is to become one of the best most renowned poets. “I am who I am and shall continue to be, an Afro-Caribbean American!” No need to modify my proclamation for it is already engraved in stone.
